As always, everyone wants to be able to run the latest version of MXit on their PC. So courtesy of Defza, here are 3 steps to getting mxit v5 setup and running on your PC through an emulator.
There is one problem with running the latest version of MXit on your PC. The .jad file expires every day, so everytime you want to run MXit v5 on your PC, you must re-download the .jad file from the official MXit site.
3 steps to run MXit v5 on your PC
- Go to www.mxit.co.za/wap and click Download MXit. Then click on Nokia 6270 to start downloading the .jad file and save it on your PC. (The Nokia 6270 version is one of the most compatibile versions.)
- Download the Mpowerplay emulator. You can also click here to start Mpowerplay emulator now without downloading it, but this does take longer.
- Start Mpowerplay, and open the .jad file you just saved. Thats it!
As you can see, it is quite a process to run MXit v5 on your PC. So why not just use MXit v3 which you don’t have to download everytime you want to run it. Download this mxitk.jad file and run it using MpowerPlay. Or just click here to run MXit right now!

hey, my mixt…well, I downloaded it today…and chatted with my friendsand everything, on my PC…which was awesome! But then I logged off, and now it wont log in again…well, how to explain this.
