I was invited to attend Nokia’s The Way We Live Next event at the One&Only hotel in Cape Town. It was an intimate affair with around 15 people (bloggers mostly) attending and it was really well received.
I was expecting to see Nokia pass out the kool-aid and pitch all their cool phones and ideas onto me, but with Rich Mullholland kicking things off, there was definitely no chance of that happening.
I thoroughly enjoyed Rich’s talk and with only a few of us in attendance, it was more interactive and personal. Rich shared some ideas on phones, where devices are heading and how they got to where we are today. Definitely some thought-provoking stuff.
“Learn, unlearn and relearn”
2 of Nokia’s products I was lucky to get my hands on where the new Nokia 3G booklet and the Nokia N900. Even with my affinity to Apple and their hardware, I really would consider both these Nokia devices if I was in the market for a netbook or a new phone.

Am sure you mean the Nokia N900 and not U900 …
