Slashdot, the ugliest site with the most traffic on the web (IMO!) held a redesign contest a couple of weeks ago, and they have choosen a winner…
Although the redesign is more of a re-align, as the design guidelines were pretty specific, I think it will go along way in improving the usability of the site.
You can check out the redesign over here. The redesign should go live within a couple of weeks.
