Download Firefox 3 and stop using Internet Explorer

Today marks the release of Firefox 3 – a major milestone in web browsers in my opinion.

For all of my beloved readers that use Internet Explorer to browse the internet, please won’t you consider downloading Firefox and giving it a try? It is really easy to install and to start using. It also is a lot quicker and safer than Internet Explorer.

Have a look at the chart below to see how Firefox stacks up against Internet Explorer.

Firefox vs Internet Explorer

For us web designers, it also makes our lives so much easier if everyone upgraded to a web browser that supports proper HTML standards like Firefox. If you not keen on trying something new, at least consider upgrading your Internet Explorer to version 7. (Click Help > About to find out which version you are running).
