Apple Mac’s are able to boot Windows

Boot Camp from AppleIt seems that Apple have revealed exactly what the thought process was behind switching their processors over to Intel. They are now dual-booting Windows!

With the next major release of Mac OSX called Leopard, an Intel Mac will be able to dual-boot Windows using Boot Camp.

More and more people are buying and loving Macs. To make this choice simply irresistible, Apple will include technology in the next major release of Mac OS X, Leopard, that lets you install and run the Windows XP operating system on your Mac.

What Boot camp also does before it allows you to install Windows, is it will burn a CD with all the Mac drivers for windows. Saves you the hassle of finding the drivers yourself.

Im really excited about this development. I’ve always wanted to play around with a Mac, as most web designers do, but here in SA, there really is no market for it. Being able to run Windows on one of those truly beautiful MacBooks, would be awesome. Thumbs up Apple!
