Mozilla creating Firefox mobile for your phone

One of the Mozilla developers has announced that they are serious about bringing Firefox experience to mobile devices, which mean Firefox mobile for your cellphone!

Currently there is a version of Firefox for the Nokia N800, but they now will be expanding this reach to other mobile devices. Especially since more and more phones come with the ability to add more memory, so you will be able to run more feature rich applications on your phone.

Currently, Opera mini is by far the best mobile browser. But if it doesn’t work on your phone, there are alternatives to Opera Mini.

Read more info about the Firefox Mobile browser over at Techcrunch or Schrep’s blog (Mozilla developer).

Well, let’s hope that their tricks to make it run at a reasonable speed on a mobile device are carried over into the hog slow desktop firefox browser!
