DSTV Easy View is going to cost R18 a month

Multichoice are going to launch a very cheap version of DSTV, called Easy View. The way I see it is its a brilliant way of getting your favourite “free” channels like SABC and ETV via satellite. No more stupid bunny ears or fuzzy pictures, and at R18 per month, its a bargain!

AS well as getting SABC, ETV and Soweto TV, you will also get a few news channels like Al Jazeera, CNBC and Parliament live. There is also a religious channel (I’m guessing TBN?), Mindset Learn as well as a MNet Lite. MNet Lite will basically consist of reruns of the standard MNet service, so expect to see some of those Sunday 8pm movies, all for R18p/m!

    Hi there

I am a white male and decided to subscribe to easyview seeing that sabc doesnt has verry little programming of my choice. My experience is that easyview gives you a greater variety but a lot of content is especially focussed on the africa not international content being the same as sabc.

I do however still think its better thanhaving just sabc .

as ordinary zimbabweans we wish to make it known that we miss what dstv offers the world. in south africa, they have cheap access to this service. i do not know how dstv can help zimbabweans, the poor population to access this wonderful intertainment at relatively cheaper cost. maybe establishing a small branch which can assist in selling the equipment and help in installations and then assist in the suscriptions in such better and cheaper packages such as easy view which costs 18 rand in south africa, establish something here in zimbabwe to assist us get that world class intertainment. we miss good soccer, good movies etc. just help us in any way you can establish in the near future. we are waiting patiently please.
